- Bourse Info: The Pennsylvania Association of Numismatists Spring Coin Show is a full experience into the world of numismatics. There are 150 tables with 100 dealers to buy, sell, and trade all numismatic items. If you have a collection or inherited one then come to get multiple offers in one location. Many local and national buyers are there to give you the best offer. A $1 optional door donation enters you in a drawing for a one tenth ounce American Gold Eagle coin. We have an educational area that includes competitive collector exhibits to educate the viewer of a specific topic in various numismatic categories. These exhibits are judged by ANA standards. Winners receive numismatic prizes. Free Silver Eagle drawings are held in the exhibit area during the show hours. PAN offers a very active kids program, the PANKidZone, as part of the educational area. Children and young people under 18 years of age learn about rare coins through talks, filling date folders, giveaways, and a kids auction using PAN Dollars that are earned and provided. The program is presented on Saturdays during the coin show and is family friendly with a positive environment for learning and fun! PAN offers a free lecture on Rare Coin Basics. It is designed to help those that are new to collecting or investing in rare coins. Learn what to look out for, the different grading services, cleaned coins versus original, along with much more! PAN is conducting an online auction that is live now. What is novel about this on-line auction is the lot viewing will be available at various coin shows up to the auction ending at 5:00pm Friday May 12th at the PAN Coin Show. PAN has a section that is devoted to handouts and giveaway materials. Everyone walks away with something. We have a numismatic reference library available to use during show hours. It is a quiet area set aside to allow the curious to browse through books that feature a wide range of numismatic subjects. It is dedicated to the memory of numismatic bookseller and PAN charter member, John Burns.
